Thin aluminum strips for sale

  Thin aluminum strips are finished products of aluminum roll obtained by pressing aluminum ingot, and then cut into strips of required width by longitudinal shear unit according to the needs of use. Basically, the alloy status of each grade can be processed into aluminum strip, among which the commonly used are: 1050, 1060, 1100, 3003, 3004, 5052, 8011, etc. The common states are o state and H state. O is the soft state and H is the hard state. O and h can be followed by numbers to indicate the degree of hardness and the degree of annealing.

  It’s usually hard to divide thin aluminum strips by application, for even strips for the same use might vary in thickness a lot. The aluminum strip for transformers, for example, is usually of 1060 O state, but its thickness ranges between 0.08mm and 3.00mm. 0.08mm is really thin, but 3.0mm is not so thin at all. Therefore, it’s more acceptable to offer as more details as possible while asking for a quotation from your suppliers.
