What is 3105 aluminum strip
3105 aluminum strip belongs to Al-Mn alloy. The addition of manganese element makes it have good anti-rust performance and good electrical conductivity. Among them, the aluminum content is 98%.
The conductivity of 3105 aluminum alloy can reach 41% due to the addition of 0.3% copper element. It has good mechanical properties. Whether it is shear strength, tensile strength, or yield strength, they are very high. Like 3004 alloy, 3105 aluminum has excellent arc welding performance, and can accept gas welding, contact spot welding and wire welding.

Main tempers
The main tempers of 3105 aluminum is O, H12, H14, H18 and H22. Haomei 3105 H14 aluminum has a yield strength of 152 MPa and a tensile strength of 172 MPa. The tensile strength of the 3105 h24 aluminum strip is high, reaching 176 MPa and the elongation reaches 17.5%. In the state of H26, the strength of 3105 alloy reaches about 200MPa, and the elongation rate is 8%-11.5%.
Why not choose Haomei
The 3105 alloy belongs to the Al-Mn-Mg series that cannot be strengthened by heat treatment. The strength of the alloy will increase with the increase of the Mn content, but the increase of Mn will form a large amount of brittle compound MnAl, and the alloy is easy to crack when deformed. At the same time, there is Mn segregation in the product, and coarse grains are easily formed during annealing. Under high temperature conditions, the 3105 alloy reacts with the Mg element in the molten aluminum to produce powdered magnesium nitride, resulting in high viscosity of the molten aluminum, poor metal fluidity, and easy slagging in the cavity of the casting nozzle.
In view of the characteristics of high viscosity and poor fluidity of molten aluminum, the Haomei team combined theoretical analysis and a large number of on-site experiments to repeatedly adjust the arrangement of the distribution blocks of the casting nozzle, and innovatively designed the structure of the 3105 aluminum alloy casting nozzle to make the molten aluminum evenly distributed among the distribution blocks. The production cycle is increased from 3 days to 7 days, which greatly saves production costs.
At the same time, the technicians innovatively designed the magnesium ingot adding device, which directly melts the magnesium ingot in the molten aluminum, avoiding contact with air, burning, and reducing oxidation. While improving the absorption rate, the feeder can move back and forth, left and right, making the alloying process more rapid and uniform, and the burning loss rate of magnesium ingots is reduced from 14.69% to 5.11%, which effectively solves the problem of high burning loss of magnesium ingots.
After the application of magnesium ingot added device, the whole roduction process of continuous casting method to produce 3105 aluminum strip is very mature. The key process parameters such as cast rolling areas, rollers, opening, cooling water temperature and other key process parameters are mastered, and the product quality and performance are stable.
