The Popular Uses of Soft Aluminum Strips

The flexible aluminum strip is an aluminum deep-processed product formed by aluminum coil slitting. The raw materials of the aluminum strip are pure aluminum or aluminum alloy cast-rolled aluminum coils and hot-rolled aluminum coils.

Then they are rolled into aluminum coils of different thicknesses and widths by a cold rolling mill, and then longitudinally cut into different widths by a slitting machine according to the application. Currently, the commonly used ones should belong to the soft aluminum strips. It has two popular uses: aluminum spacer strip, aluminum nose wire, transformer aluminum strip.

Aluminum spacer strip

Compared with other materials, the aluminum strip for insulating glass is of strong corrosion resistance and high brightness. It is of uniform penetration, good straightness, no deformation, stable size, high strength, good toughness, which can be continuously bent into any angle of aluminum frame with bending equipment. More importantly, it can ensure the activity of molecular sieve and ensure excellent bonding with various glues.

Aluminum nose wire

The aluminum nose wire made of the bendable aluminum strips has a good shaping effect. It is in close contact with the corresponding parts of the wearer's face and effectively fits the skin to block dust, smoke, flu viruses, etc.

It usually chooses 1060 or 3003 aluminum strip. They not only have high specification accuracy, good surface finish, regular winding,but also has good bending resistance, which can meet most technical requirements for the production of masks. Aluminum strip for transformer winding

Aluminum strips and foils for dry-type transformers generally use 1070 aluminum strips. At present, 1070 aluminum alloy has the highest aluminum content in the pure aluminum series. It is of high plasticity, low strength, corrosion resistance, good electrical and thermal conductivity, and electrical conductivity. The conductivity can reach more than 35.7 S/m, mainly used in transformer accessories.
