What is 1145 aluminum

1145 aluminum strip is formed by adding a small amount of copper element to pure aluminum, which has excellent forming and processing characteristics, high corrosion resistance, good weldability and electrical conductivity.

With a minimum aluminum content of 99.45%, aluminum alloy 1145 with its sister alloy of 1235, are almost identical in chemical and physical properties. Its common tempers are H12, H14, H16, H18 and H19.

Applications

1145 aluminum is widely used for the packaging of food and drug, transformers, switchgears, automotive heat shielding, food service, insulation and laminating.

1145 VS1100 VS1235

1. Since 1145 alloy is very similar to 1235 and 1235 is more readily available, 1145 aluminum is becoming sparse in the market.

2. Both 1100 and 1145 are pure aluminum and have excellent formability. The 1145 alloy has even better conductivity than 1100 aluminum strip due to its higher aluminum content.

Packaging and Shipping

1145 Aluminum strip of Haomei meet the export standard. Plastic film and brown paper can be covered at customers’ need. What’s more, wooden case or wooden pallet is adopted to protect products from damage during the delivery. There are two kinds of packaging, which is eye to wall or eye to sky. Customers can choose either of them for their convenience. Generally speaking, there are 2 tons in one package, and loading 18-22 tons in 1×20′ container, and 20-24 tons in 1×40′ container.
